The Bluesight CostCheck team is growing and needs your help in designing and coding the newest features. This work will have a direct impact on hospital pharmacies, by providing actionable insights that reduce drug spend, increase medication safety and compliance, and maximize staff productivity. Customers rave at the savings CostCheck brings and your work will bring the satisfaction of tangibly saving hospitals millions of dollars!

About the role:
  • Work with QA and the UX team to build a best-in-class, well-tested user experience
  • Periodically engage with customers to hear new feature requests and contribute to solving problems
  • Collaborate with team members to design and build high-scale fault-tolerant systems to support the product
  • Be a key team member in our agile, two-week sprint process managed by JIRA
  • Participate in code reviews

About You:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a software engineer
  • Love of solving problems and building things
  • Extensive knowledge in Java, Spring, and SQL
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and related topics (data modeling, diagnosing slow queries, etc.)
  • Extensive experience working with APIs and knowledge of HTTP and REST principles
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, etc.)
  • Display empathy with your coworkers and our customers

$140,000 - $160,000 a year
The standard base pay range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 when annualized. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards. Actual amounts and salary will vary depending on the position offered, experience, performance, and location.

This position is a remote position and open to applicants in the continental United States.
