We make social media analytics tools used by the world's most important record labels (Sony Music, Universal Music, Def Jam, Island Records and loads more).

The products you will work on have a direct impact on how global marketing campaigns are run for the world’s biggest artists like Calvin Harris, Shawn Mendes and The Chainsmokers.

TikTok is fundamentally changing the music industry and we are helping our clients take advantage of this once-a-decade disruption.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a developer who can help us increase scalability and maintainability of our three established web products, MelodyIQ, Melody Socials and Strawberry Socials.

We expect our rapidly growing customer base to 5x over the next year, so we are preparing our services for increased load.

We are also still developing and growing the products, and the new features you build will be used by clients everyday.

We’re looking for someone who truly cares about quality code and the craft of software engineering, so that our products are effortless and enjoyable to maintain for years to come.

You’ll work closely with our technical co-founder, Felix. You can expect a team that listens, and to be heard. You can expect to be counted on.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The essentials:

• 3+ years shipping high-quality, non-trivial web applications

• Strong competency with JavaScript and Node.js

• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL with large data sets
  

• Enjoy working remotely
  
  

The “nice to haves”:

• Knowledge of front-end development / React

• Experience with GCP (esp. Firestore, Cloud SQL and Cloud Functions
  

The non-essentials:

• A CS degree. We care about what you can do and how you do it, not about how you got here.

Over the last 3 years we’ve worked together across 4 different continents. As we’re writing this, Sammy is in Greece, Anne Marie in Texas and Felix is in Australia.

We are building a team we’re excited to work with for the next decade.

We are a 100% self-funded and have no outside investors. We are a profitable, fast growing software company. We love what we do, who we do it with and we want to do it long term.
