To that end, we build a cutting-edge software suite that connects all clinical research stakeholders, from research teams to treating physicians, patients, and study sponsors on a real-time, real-world data SaaS platform, powered by AI.  We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to oversee the technical implementation of our software with our health system customers. Working closely with project managers, solutions engineers, and data engineers, the Director will evaluate and define the best processes for extracting and ingesting healthcare data, leveraging industry standards where possible to streamline our implementation efforts. This role has enormous growth potential and will help define the future of product implementations at Deep 6.     To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have experience evaluating and architecting technical solutions in healthcare, excellent project management skills, and a track record of creative problem solving. If you are motivated and enjoy bringing technical expertise to a fast-moving company, we’d like to meet you.  What You'll DO   Data ingestion strategy  ·         Define the future of Deep 6 technical implementations by leveraging industry standards and models (e.g., HL7/FHIR, OMOP) to rapidly set up data feeds from healthcare providers.  ·         Build on the existing Deep 6 data ingestion pipeline to effectively integrate standard data feeds. Define and own technical projects to improve ETL pipeline.  ·         Evaluate potential data integration partners and services, and build business cases for sustainable, efficient implementations.  ·         Oversee enhancements to the Deep 6 data specifications, regularly updating the data dictionary to include new data types needed to enhance our patient matching capabilities.  Internal collaboration  ·         Collaborate with Implementation team, data engineers and data science teams to make sure client data pipelines are robust and meet future research needs  ·         Work closely with the Product and Data Science teams to connect our data specifications with product needs   Full remote or work in our Pasadena office  Our Engineering Culture  We are a very collaborative group that is inclusive, fun, and hard-working.
