Plaid’s UK & Europe team works with some of the biggest and most exciting fintechs, including Kraken, Youlend, Moneybox and Shares; and globally some of the world's largest companies including Microsoft, Tesla and Google. We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team in London. In this position, you will be part of the team whose mission is to expand new business in Europe and the UK, working with global customers coming into Europe and companies based in Europe.


You will be responsible for full-stack commercial activities (outbound/inbound, evaluation, negotiation, closing) as well as working with cross-functional teams to help drive the product roadmap and market positioning for Plaid. If you are a self-starter who can wear multiple hats, loves growing new business, and is passionate about fintech, there are few more exciting roles than this. Responsibilities
  • You will join our Sales team as an Account Executive and will be responsible for generating & closing new customers across the UK & Europe, primarily in the Strategic and Midmarket segments
  • You’ll be on the cutting edge of fintech & financial services, searching and attending events and conferences
  • You will be wearing multiple hats (sales, technical, product) and working cross functionally 
  • You will be providing input into our product roadmap and sharing customer feedback
  • You will help us shape the culture of our company


Qualifications
  • 3+ years B2B sales experience in a SaaS environment
  • Passion for fintech and financial services
  • Knowledge or interest in learning about open banking and payments
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Familiarity with the UK and EU fintech market
