Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse caseload involving both commercial and residential property issues.
- Offer legal guidance to council departments, senior officers, and stakeholders.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of property-related legal documents.
- Advise on acquisitions, disposals, leases, licenses, easements, wayleaves, and land transactions.
- Support projects related to regeneration, development, and asset management.
- Conduct title investigations and property due diligence.
- Draft and finalize legal agreements for property transactions.
- Provide counsel on landlord and tenant matters.
- Assist project teams with complex property-related challenges.
- Participate in remote meetings to offer legal advice as needed.
- Maintain precise case records and file management systems.
Essential
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx with a valid practicing certificate.
- Extensive post-qualification experience in Property Law.
- Proficiency in handling both commercial and residential property matters.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating property agreements and legal documents.
- Strong understanding of:

- Ability to independently manage a caseload.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
