Clinical Business Analyst – Patient Access

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experiencedClinical Business Analyst / Clinical Informatics Analystwith strong expertise inPatient Access, Registration, and Schedulingto support a large-scale Clinical Information System (CIS) implementation within the Canadian healthcare sector.

The successful candidate will work closely with clinical stakeholders, healthcare providers, subject matter experts, project teams, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze healthcare workflows, develop clinical standards, and support the implementation and validation of CIS solutions.

Requirements

• University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Business Analyst, Clinical Informatics Analyst, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience working with Patient Access, Registration, and Scheduling processes.
• Strong experience in:
  • Requirements gathering
  • Business process analysis
  • Use-case analysis
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Detailed solution/design activities
  • Business analysis documentation
• 5+ years of experience working with acute-care healthcare information systems such as EHR/CIS.
• 3+ years of experience supporting healthcare information system/CIS implementation projects.
• Demonstrated experience working within a Canadian acute-care healthcare environment.
• Experience specifically related to Patient Access / Registration / Scheduling in a healthcare environment.
• Must be available to start around October 12, 2026, or earlier if possible.
• Must be willing and able to travel to New Brunswick at least once per month.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of Clinical Business Analyst experience involving Patient Access, Registration, and Scheduling.
• Experience with one or more of:
  • Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE)
  • Order Sets
  • Clinical Documentation
  • Pharmacy
  • Medical Imaging
  • Laboratory
• Experience facilitating workshops with healthcare providers to identify:
  • Business requirements
  • System requirements
  • User stories
  • Use cases
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• Experience working independently and collaborating effectively with:
  • Clinical SMEs
  • Healthcare providers
  • Project managers
  • Technical teams
  • Business stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple project streams and activities simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including:
  • Excel
  • Word
  • PowerPoint
  • Visio
  • Outlook
  • Teams
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA in a project environment.
• Previous experience working with public health authorities.
