Manta Sleep is seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to lead the design process from concept to product launch, balancing creative vision with practical execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with experience in designing physical consumer products and a strong understanding of user-centered design and design thinking methodologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design or Industrial Design focused on physical consumer products
- Experience designing products in a fast-growing eCommerce company ($30M–$50M+ revenue)
- Proven experience designing both soft goods and hard goods (home, wearable, or textile-based products)
- Demonstrated ability to take products from concept and sketch stage through mass production
- Advanced proficiency in 3D rendering software such as Keyshot (or equivalent)
- Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Rhino, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Hands-on prototyping experience including 3D printing and physical mock-ups
- Strong understanding of user-centered design and design thinking methodologies
- Experience conducting and applying user research and usability testing
- Ability to align product design with business goals and product roadmaps
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and bringing products to mass production
- Ability to create CMF specifications and detailed Tech Packs for factories
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing partners
- Clear written and visual communication skills
- Fluent English
