We are looking for a passionate product manager to shape the future of Equip’s patient experience during treatment for their eating disorder. As a virtual first provider, the products that face our patients and the people who support them are an essential backbone to delivering exceptional, high quality care. Equip is growing and as we scale to meet more people in need, this person will have an enormous opportunity to influence how we evolve our strategy to engage patients and help them get better.

We need someone who can apply a creative, rigorous, and efficient approach to product management. They will be a critical member of our team, leading a group of engineers, designers, user researchers, and internal stakeholders toward a new vision for our patient experience that they will help develop and drive the roadmap for. If you are excited about tackling a broad set of responsibilities, blending tactical execution with visionary thinking, and making a meaningful impact on patients’ path toward recovery, then this role might be the right fit for you!

What you’ll do:
  •  Develop a strategy and roadmap for the patient and support experience domain that is outcomes driven and pursues our organization’s goals
  •  Work closely with your design, engineering, product, and clinical counterparts to come up with innovative ways to achieve engagement, retention, and clinical outcomes goals
  • Conduct user interviews, market research, A/B tests, and develop insights that will inform our vision for the platform
  • Collaborate closely with the clinical programs, clinical operations, and our leadership team and maintain a tight feedback loop
  •  Manage the execution of your roadmap by leading engineering, design, and stakeholders through the development process, ensuring tight timelines and successful product launches (this will include participating in ceremonies like stand ups, backlog grooming, retros, planning and being a resource to your engineers)
  •  Demonstrate empathy and curiosity as an approach to all complex issues (be them technical, societal, or personal) and share a genuine interest to solve problems for our users
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a growing, early stage work environment
  • Find ways to improve efficiency and excellence in our product development process

You’ll be great for this role if:
  • You have 4+ years of product management experience working at high growth companies, ideally working on consumer facing products and/or in healthcare specifically
  •  You have a proven track record of owning a product experience end to end that’s demonstrated value
  • You love navigating through ambiguity in brand new territory on problems and turning them into solutions

  • You can develop an intuitive understanding of what your customers need and make the case for how to best serve them
  • You have a strong business sense and are willing to become an expert in the eating disorder treatment space
  •  You’re an excellent communicator in both written and verbal formats
  • You understand how to influence and drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders with competing interests, and rally support for your ideas in complex organizations
  • You can understand data and leverage it, without getting stuck in proving out every decision

Bonus:
  • You’ve worked in product at a tech enabled healthcare company
  •  You have a technical background and can write SQL and/or read basic code
