Demand Planner

Location: APAC / remote

The Demand Planner is responsible for developing and managing a demand schedule which will include production slot planning, capacity planning, sales analysis as well as managing product allocation to each region.  This role will interface with multiple departments to develop and execute an accurate demand plan to meet customer needs and drive company growth.

•Lead monthly demand reviews with commercial teams. Conduct demand analysis, monitor sales history and report forecast changes and drivers

•Manage and drive the regional S&OP demand planning process for assigned product families

•Develop forecasts and replenishment plans for the region

•Ensure forecast data is updated in the planning system

•Develop item level and the aggregate forecast for the relevant product families.

•Provide input into inventory strategies on existing, new products and product phase outs 

•Drive S&OP best practices and help standardize our planning methodologies 

•Effectively communicate ideas and identify any risk mitigation strategies

•Monitor supply chain key performance indicators, perform root cause analysis, implement action plans and strive for continuous improvement.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant forecasting or demand planning experience

Ability to collaborate and work in a changing environment

Strong analytical skills combined with practical business acumen

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering 

Basic Finance and Accounting skills

APICS certification is strongly preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Entrepreneurial drive and ability to prioritize and execute many tasks in parallel
