What we’re looking for:

You are a data scientist, who loves to build data products that delight customers. You strongly believe in agile principles and use them to deliver value incrementally. You are eager to learn about new methodologies and practices and apply them directly in your work. You are a quick learner.

Once you’ve joined Tide, you will be working closely on lot of use cases with respect to Risk & Compliance, Marketing- Customer Acquisition - CrossSell / Up sell, Customer Churn, Credit Models 

As a Senior Data Scientist you’ll be:

  • Work closely with the Business teams to create impact like generate more revenue or optimise costs or reduce risk using ML/Stats models
  • Understand business requirements and solutionize data products in order to solve them
  • Identify creative solutions in order to build relevant training data sets
  • Train models and optimize hyperparameters
  • Work closely with our ML engineers in order to productionize models

What makes you a great fit: 

  • You have 4+ years of experience in Software development or Machine Learning. Strong in Python
  • You have expert knowledge with Machine Learning tools/libraries - scikit-learn, statmodels, TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch
  • You have experience with big-data technologies such as Spark, SparkML, Hadoop etc. and have handled large data in distributed processing environment. AWS, GCP or Azure (anyone) cloud knowledge is preferred
  • You have excellent communication skills including the ability to explain statistical concepts and technical tradeoffs to business users
  • You are proficient  in ML training, optimizing, feature selection and engineering, hyperparameter tuning  and have knowledge about trade offs in using different algorithms 
  • You are proficient  in Deploying a variety of ML-algorithms, such as logistic regressions, boosted trees and neural networks
  • You’re a self-starter - you take initiative in spotting opportunities and finding ways to solve challenges with data and also weave good 
  • You have good working knowledge with basic data table operations (SQL etc.), data transform in warehouse (dbt etc.) 
  • You have a good working knowledge in business intelligence softwares (eg. Looker) or use appropriate visualization plots in open source like matplotlib, seaborn or plotly for weaving the right story for the stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Financial Services and Fintech space is preferred
