Role:

Proof of Play is seeking a UI Game Artist to join us in our mission to create amazing Web3 games and experiences. This role will report to our Studio Director or Lead Game Designer for an individual project.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the UI Design Owner for the project(s) you work on
  • Work with the Game Designer(s) to understand the functional needs of the game
  • Develop and maintain the UI Design System, ensuring that players enjoy a consistent, easy to understand and immersive gaming experience
  • Design concepts, prototypes, mock flows, content, and high fidelity UI experiences that promote ease of use, are engaging, and align with the product's goals, usability and accessibility standards and company brands
  • Collaborate with Art Director and UI Artist(s) to set the UI style guide
  • Task, review, collect and form final feedback to bring the UI vision into the game
  • Document and promote awareness of industry UI standards, and push to improve internal understanding and adoption of the Design System across the product

What You'll Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in UI design
  • Shipped at 2 least mobile and or browser based games in a UI design role
  • Expertise with Figma
  • Knowledgeable, fast and efficient with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Axure, Omnigraffle, or other visual design tools
  • Great visual design skills (i.e., composition, layout, typography, and color theory)
  • A excellent eye for little details
  • Skilled at interaction design practices
  • Knowledge of designing for accessibility, diversity, and inclusivity
  • Understand the importance of documentation and teaching others
  • Enjoys collaborative, creative problem-solving
  • Familiarity with or genuine curiosity in Web3 and Free-To-Play gaming
