The Role

We are looking for a Business Development - Venture Specialist with adequate experience to manage our shareholder relationships and conduct due diligence for future funding rounds. The ideal candidate is passionate about the crypto markets and venture building. The ideal candidate must also have a good understanding of venture investing including how to properly create fundraising documents for potential investors. We are searching for an individual who is experienced, resourceful, and well connected.

You will:

  • Work directly with the Aldrin core team and facilitate discussions on future funding rounds as well as create the plan to achieve internal roadmaps.
  • Facilitate meetings with potential investors and build relationships with investors in the crypto/DeFi space. Take charge of investor relations and be the first point of contact for any fundraising interest.
  • Conduct research on investors including but not limited to angels, venture capitals, prop firms, and strategic partners. Establish an understanding of the different types of investors and create outreach strategies.


  • 3+ years of experience in traditional finance, venture capital, or consulting.
  • Deep crypto knowledge and understanding of venture building, including how venture fundraising, whether it be through equity or token, works.
  • Capable of creating fundraising materials including pitch decks, cap tables, and other documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Proficient in excel and basic Microsoft offices tools
  • Self-motivated and thrives in a startup environment, including having the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Bonus: Strong network within the Crypto/DeFi industry
