Sourcing & Supply Chain Specialist at Apical

We are looking for an experienced Sourcing & Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our business meets its financial goals and product needs by developing and executing effective sourcing and supply chain strategies. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to identify, negotiate and manage the procurement of high-quality products that meet our compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet business needs and financial goals.
• Identify potential suppliers and conduct due diligence to ensure they meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and contract terms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and operations, to identify product needs and ensure the timely delivery of products.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize the sourcing process to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
• Amazon experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with data analysis and market research.
• Knowledge of supplier management, supply chain planning, production, quality, and cost control.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
