Yuga Labs is a web3 company exploring big ideas in identity, ownership, utility, and interoperability to push the crypto and NFT space forward. Since debuting with our flagship collection Bored Ape Yacht Club in April 2021, we’ve created new IP for the ape ecosystem (Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Bored Ape Kennel Club), acquired other top collections (CryptoPunks and Meebits), and pulled off successful events (ApeFest) and partnerships (Rolling Stone). And we made both web3 and gaming history — the biggest NFT mint ever followed by a game demo with record-breaking synchronized player participation — for our newest initiative, Otherside.

Our Team
Our team's goal is to set a new standard for how we build, deploy, and maintain software. We work hand in hand with the development, IT, and security teams to make building world class software easier and more enjoyable.

We create an environment where best practices and boilerplate come for free. Security, safety, and privacy are principles we believe in and they should be in every piece of software that we produce by default. It should be easy for our teams to build, test, and get/provide feedback at any point in the development lifecycle. Monitoring, logging, and instrumentation should be simple for our team to implement and consume.

In short, we let our developers, designers, product managers, and artists focus on the creative and inventive parts of building by providing robust and invisible infrastructure that makes great software the default outcome.
We have tons to do, building the future of web3, and we need help maturing our tech stack, work flows, security practices, and operations to meet our rapid growth.

Our team is made up of hackers, detectives, tinkerers, and builders that are laying the foundation that will sit beneath every piece of software we create; we’d love to have you join us!

Who We’re Looking For...

You work well on a distributed team and are self-motivated.
You seek to understand problems holistically before trying to solve them.
You have a bias towards action and an eye for detail.
You have a broad base of knowledge about the different tools, services, and practices that are available and can evaluate when they are applicable to different problems.
You are a capable communicator, written and verbal.

Required Skills:

4+ Years Development Experience
Proficient in at least one scripting language - Python/Ruby/Bash/etc…
AWS - ECS, Cloudfront, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, ECS, RDS, etc…
Cloudflare
Docker
PostgreSQL
Linux System Administration
Basic Cybersecurity Knowledge
Zero Trust Concepts
Experience with the deployment and operation of CI/CD pipelines
Git

Bonus Skills:

Code analysis tools SAST/DAST (DevSecOps interest).

The annual salary for this position ranges from $155,000 to $200,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, training, company needs, and current market demands. The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. This position may also be eligible for salary increases, bonuses, equity awards, and benefits.
