Job responsibilities:
As a Senior TypeScript Developer Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a remote team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of our price management software. You will work closely with the product team to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will also direct the development team to ensure that the code is well-architected, scalable, and maintainable.
Day-to-day duties include:
Leading a team of developers in design, development, and maintenance
Translating business requirements into technical solutions
Ensuring that the code is well-architected, scalable, and maintainable
Obsessing over clean, readable, and maintainable code
Solving problems and creating robust solutions to technical challenges
Thinking flexibly about the big picture while executing on the smaller details
Collaborating with the development team to continuously improve our software
Mentoring a team of developers and helping them grow their skills
Job requirements:
Expert knowledge of TypeScript
Ability to work efficiently with large datasets and proficiency in MySQL (PlanetScale)
Strong experience with Remix, Vercel, and a serverless backend (AWS via CDK/SST)
Experience leading a team of developers
Creative - problem solving, able to create robust solutions to technical challenges
Passion for software development and a desire to continuously learn and improve
You obsess over clean code and may even feel anxious if you’re not writing tests
Clear written and spoken communication in English
Availability to work Monday-Friday during New York (EST) time zone’s business hours
Ability to organize, prioritize and execute quickly and efficiently
