What You Will Own:

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Linktree, you will build robust, efficient and integrated data models and data products that will enable business teams to become data users. Our Core Intelligence team is responsible for servicing data across our Linktree teams, and it’s our goal to get to a self-serve model for our teams. This is your opportunity to make an impact here!

We’re in our build phase, so the focus right now is to understand our needs, build data structure, set standards and drive up-skilling across Linktree teams. You’ll work with tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Looker, dbt, Github, and work closely with our data platforms, software engineers and business functions such as Product, Strategy and Leadership teams.

• At least 4 years experience within data structure and data modelling.
• Advanced SQL knowledge, as well as experience with cloud-based data warehouse solutions (experience with Snowflake is a bonus).
• Advanced data modelling skills with the ability to translate business requirements into fit for purpose data products.
• Experience working with event-oriented data sets of large size, unstructured events and diverse schemas.
• Experience in working with dbt and git.
• Experience with BI reporting tools such as Looker, PowerBI or Qlik (experience with Looker is a bonus).
• Being able to act and adapt to changes in the work environment and roadmap.
• Experience in delivering projects from end to end, working both independently and in teams.
• Familiar with data warehousing principles, including orchestration frameworks, schema structures and data architecture principles.
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written – to be able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas.
• Strong collaboration mentality.

All of us at Linktree work either fully remote or a hybrid "remote, but in-office sometimes" approach and that will continue even when COVID is behind us.

We currently have offices in Melbourne, Sydney and LA is coming next, but our team is spread across Australia, United States, and New Zealand. Growing from 20 people in early 2020, to 50 in 2021 and over 200 in 2022, Linktree is still growing!

Being globally distributed doesn't mean working to one timezone and we offer autonomy and flexibility in how you structure your days and weeks. There will be the need for some collaboration outside of a "normal" 9-5 being a global company, but we aim to work asynchronously where possible.

The Linktree Story

We created and defined the “link in bio” category in 2016 to solve a common pain point for creators, brands and businesses: they had no way to consolidate their content and digital identities. The internet was becoming increasingly  fragmented, so we launched a simple tool that allows anyone to manage their corner of the digital universe.
