The role
We’re looking for a seasoned SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to take overall ownership of our automation codebase. This will start as a technical leadership role but has the opportunity to turn into a people management role over time. Strong technical and communication skills are a requirement, as is an ability to act autonomously.
Responsibilities
  • Overall ownership of our scalable test automation framework and test scripts to ensure repeatability, coverage, reliability and catching regressions.
  • Ensure high quality software is delivered in each weekly or bi-weekly release
  • Creating test plans for new features and improving existing test plans including identifying areas for automation
  • Research and resolve any broken automation scripts that fail during execution
  • Create and maintain documentation for automation procedures for existing and future team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science; or 5+ years of related experience
  • 6+ years of developing and maintaining frontend regression frameworks, preferably in Python
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, system dependencies, and product integration phases
  • Solid knowledge of Selenium, Appium or Katalon Studio
  • Experience with git, Javascript, REST and Websocket APIs
