This is a fully remote role, but we can only consider candidates based in EMEA.

The role

We’re looking for a Content Lead & PR Manager that will be in charge of creating or overseeing the creation of compelling written content for our multi-channel marketing communications, PR, digital and social media actions, ensuring the smooth delivery of strategies and campaigns for our team.

In this role, you will be producing content for a variety of purposes for the organization that you will either write yourself or through external providers, ensuring the optimum quality and consistency in style is found across the different channels.

In addition to this, you will be building and managing our PR strategy, forging relationships with journalists and influencers and distributing material that will enhance the public image of SettleMint in the press or with other relevant media.

Responsibilities

• Write content, create and manage an editorial plan, making sure that the different needs are covered in due time and with the highest quality standards.

• Supervise and review content created by other team members, ensure quality is as expected and consistency is maintained towards the whole organization.

• Plan, implement and manage SettleMint’s public relations (PR) program and oversee all activities falling in that bucket.

• Constantly measure effectiveness of the different pieces that you pull out and optimize SettleMint style to make the most impact among our community and customers.

• Dictate the Tone of Voice for all communications across the company, establish copywriting policies and best practices for the rest of the team.

• Manage a backlog of external agencies and copywriters that you activate when relevant, based on the editorial plan and the ad hoc needs that you may see.

• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding tone of voice, content formulation and structure.

Skills and Experiences

• You are an exceptional storyteller, with compelling narrative skills and strong copywriting ability in English.

• 7+ years of experience copywriting and/or managing PR at a Blockchain company or with a PR company.

• You know how to optimize writing for the different mediums and audiences that you are addressing and have a sound understanding of SEO.

• Strategic mindset, you have a data-driven approach and base yourself on numbers and facts to build and execute a plan.

• Experience working with creative briefs and collaborating with designers and other stakeholders (marketing, leadership, product, etc.)

• You are a team player with strong and confident personality and a positive attitude.
