Front End Developer at BitPay

BitPay is building blockchain payment technology that is transforming how businesses and people send, receive, and store money. We're growing fast and are seeking front end developers with extensive experience developing production-ready Javascript applications. As a member of our development team, you will collaborate with talented developers, as well as design and product teams who have a passion for cryptocurrency and the future of payments.

BitPay development team members:

• Deliver quality code that is tested, secure, and performant on a global scale
• Value openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Extend and maintain our platform as we grow and add features
• Have fun while working alongside highly skilled developers

Requirements:

• 3+ years of development experience
• Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular (we love polyglots)
• Extensive experience in Javascript/HTML/CSS
• Familiar with current trends and best practices including UI/UX design, performance, security and usability
• A strong desire to continuously learn
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice to haves:

• Cryptocurrency development experience a plus
• Strong portfolio with open-source project contributions preferred
• Native development experience with frameworks such as Ionic or React Native
• Understanding of Redux based architecture
