Senior Backend Engineer at Nova Credit

At Nova Credit, we’re on a mission to make financial access easier, no matter where you’re from or where you go. We’ve built a platform that enables lenders to access a single, predictive cross-border credit database to help underwrite immigrants and other global citizens.  In effect, we are the first global infrastructure for financial identity to seamlessly move around the world. As a backend-focused engineer, you’ll be joining one of the following teams: 

  1. “Cash” (Cashflow Analytics) Team, building a cash-flow analytics system to provide lenders with an alternate system of trust for the "credit invisible". This is an emerging space, driven by pandemic-related disruption, and we believe we're uniquely positioned to launch into it in 2022. This product has a TAM of ~60M Americans who don't have access to credit.

  2. Credit Passport Engineering Team, focused on working cross-functionally with our international credit data partners to advance and grow our global pipeline for credit history. You will have support, resources, and space to learn new skills on the job as well as have a direct impact on the core of Nova Credit's business -- supporting the dreams of newcomers around the world by helping them access financial services they are typically denied.

We're remote friendly within the continental US and we will continue to be after the pandemic. Our only ask is for you to join us in-person for two company-wide offsites each year. Our US compensation will be tied to pay ranges of high-cost areas such as SF and NY, regardless of where employees live 👀.
