UX UI Design Intern at Glidian

Glidian is seeking a summer intern to focus on UI/UX design for a few key projects. This UX/UI Intern will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes and designs, and aligning user behavior to actions that drive results. You’ll be working alongside our product team as well as our engineering teams to iterate on the design and user experience of our website and platform product. We have a small team so your voice will be heard and you will get great experience in a startup environment. This is a remote opportunity. 

In this role you will:  Translate user behavior and research into actionable data. Create concepts, wireframes, and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences Design and create mockups and user journeys for the Glidian Platform Ability to clearly communicate research and design ideas to product and engineering teams Can effectively manage projects to complete by end of the internship program. 

During the internship, you’ll learn how to: Take a feature from ideation to shipped product Collaborate closely with product and engineering to define requirements and ship features Produce high-quality design deliverables Present your research and designs clearly to relevant stakeholders

We are looking for people who:  Currently pursuing a major in a related field, Junior or Senior status Experience with UX design software such as Figma or Sketch Experience with Adobe SuiteExperience with Javascript Familiarity with conventions in web design
