Bixal has an exciting opportunity to help accelerate IT modernization across the federal government and improve the public's experience with a range of digital government services. Working closely with our federal client, Bixal's cross-functional team will leverage private sector best practices, innovative thinking, and centralized resources to deliver enterprise transformation at scale. This role is uniquely positioned to make a positive impact in the Civic Tech space.    We’re looking for a UX Designer to manage and produce digital design work for a federal client as part of an agile team. You have experience generating concepts, communicating those concepts visually and interactively, and working with Engineers and Product Managers to build and test these concepts. You are responsible for promoting human-centered design at every level of the project, acting as an advocate for the end user and helping the team empathize with and understand the needs of users. You will work closely with a UX Researcher to build understanding, test concepts, and create robust, usable, and accessible features. The UX Designer will be in charge of a variety of deliverables, from box-and-arrow wireframes to polished prototypes, and will be instrumental in transforming research and analysis into actionable functionality.   The current project need involves working with Spanish-speaking communities and supporting the lived experience of those communities, and as such must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
