About The Role
Frontier is looking for a dynamic, tech-savvy Operations Associate with excellent communication skills to join our team.
In sum, if you’re a great listener and can identify a customer’s needs, we want to chat with you.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing supplier relationships across all third party warehousing, co-manufacturing and raw material providers in order to meet service and cost performance targets.
- Create and maintain production schedules and ensure materials are ordered within lead times to follow said schedule.
- Support development and drive implementation of procurement strategies for ingredients, creating a network of suppliers that support innovation and mission driven initiatives.
- Manage ingredient/materials spend, with a strong focus on cost optimization.
- Analyze and identify cost savings opportunities across co-manufacturing, procurement, warehousing and logistics / transportation.
- Source and select suppliers, negotiate contract terms and prices; and manage suppliers’ relationships, quality issues, risks, complaints etc. - communicating directly with leadership before executing terms
- Manage the hedging process for key materials and other ingredients and ensure recommendations are shared and approved by senior leadership.
- Follow up on open purchase orders and ensure shipments and receipts are processed on time.
- Minimize material write-offs and work with appropriate parties to ensure “First Expired, First Out” is observed and materials are used most efficiently.
- Participate in discussions to improve the overall effectiveness of how materials are ordered, shipped, received, and maintained.
- Troubleshoot and reconcile invoices to ensure vendors are paid for materials delivered.
- Support team in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and co-manufacturers, building out processes and preparing for growth.

Job specific requirements
- 1-2 years prior operations or similar experience
- Prior experience with CRM softwares
- Working computer and excellent internet for video calls
- Ability to work on the US time zones
- Excellent English, including understanding of a wide array of idioms (assessed via written, phone and video tests)
