Product Manager at Ultra Mobile

ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Product Manager to join the Product Team! Individual reports to Sr. Product Manager. Role is remote; must reside in the United States. This role requires PST Working Hours.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Product Manager will be responsible for the management of Mint Mobile’s products and services. The Product Manager will meet regularly with business stakeholders, including members of the Marketing, Sales, and operational teams, in order to identify and prioritize the product and technological needs of the Mint Mobile business. Working closely with members of Program Management, Product, Engineering, and other teams responsible for product development, you will orchestrate the prioritization and build-out of various functionality, including everything from small feature iterations to company-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and always takes a data-driven approach to decision making.

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

• Meet with key cross-functional stakeholders to share and gather new ideas and long term strategies and roadmaps.
• Work with functional team members to develop workflow and process flow diagrams.
• Create, or support the creation of user stories, usability documents, and functional requirements.
• Measure the effectiveness of new products or features using analytics tools and present findings to stakeholders.
• Run multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Support Sr. Product Managers in the planning and execution of Mint products and services.

WHAT YOU BRING

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, or related field/experience.
• Experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Ability to develop a strategic vision and plan for future products and services
• Experience working in partnership with UX Design experts and translating UX requirements into functional requirements.
• Experience in all phases of the SDLC for large and complex projects.
• Experience integrating 3rd party platforms or products into an established technical stack.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry, especially prepaid, is preferable.Ability to lead discussions for internal and external resources.
• Ability to manage and prioritize efforts and manage personal workload.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment with fixed due dates.
• Strong communication, written, and organizational skills are needed to facilitate organizational requirements from Ultra and Mint’s cross-functional teams.
• Ability to understand the complex product, service, and operational behaviors from both a business and technical aspect.
• Ability to communicate with developers and understand programming terminology.
• Ability to manage requirements, tasks, and documents related to multiple independent or dependent projects/programs.

In support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the range of starting pay for this role is $105,000 - $125,000.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.  We also offer a variety of benefits including health, disability insurance, 401 (k), flexible spending accounts, EAP, education reimbursement, parental leave, unlimited vacation, bonuses, incentive stock options and company paid holidays.  The specific programs and options available will vary depending on state, start date, and employment type.
