About the Role:

The Renewals Sales Representative (RSR) will be responsible for managing customer support renewal opportunities within assigned accounts. The RSR will consult with account teams and provide strategic renewals pricing to grow revenue within region. In addition, the RSR will participate in the sales process as an extension of the Account Executives by building relationships with the Clients, Manufacturers, and Distributors. This position will also be responsible for managing the IT Support Infrastructure and any Support needs after every Renewal sale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee entire renewal opportunities within assigned account.
  • Conduct quarterly business review including presenting account renewal mapping, budgetary and cost analysis spend to clients.
  • Advise sales team and provide strategic renewals pricing plan to grow revenue within region.
  • Drive upsell opportunities within existing client base (i.e. position multi-year deals, increase size of deals, co-term with other license opportunities).
  • Prepare reports and data analysis to present to management team.
  • Maintain CRM data for opportunities/forecasts, client information and maintain account lists.
  • Engage distribution line and/or vendor in advance of expiration.
  • Provide client with accurate Renewal quote in advance of renewal expiration.
  • Provide financing options & related information when appropriate.
  • Prepare renewal Purchase Orders prior to support expiration.
  • Collaborate with vendor on interim support exceptions if client facing potential lapse.
  • Accurately process client transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns.
  • Setup and maintain client files, credit limits and contacts.
  • Champion best practices and contribute to policies and procedures
  • Maintain and expand working knowledge of current partner products and solutions, as well as services portfolio.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

ELIGIBILITY AND PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • High school diploma required; College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance renewal sales experience.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Emphasis on ability to communicate well, build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills regarding client quotes, reports, manufacturer data.
  • Excellent organization skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good understanding on Information Technologies is a plus.
