Voyager is seeking a talented, results-driven Product Manager to bridge the gap between business and technology, acting as point of contact for teams across the business to streamline the funding process.

As Product Manager of Funding you will partner with Stakeholders from Business/Marketing, Design, Treasury/Accounting, Development, Compliance, Security, and Support to streamline the customer funding process ensuring the experience is straightforward and frictionless.  You will monitor and measure changes impacting the funding process and work to refine, optimize and improve the user experience and backend processes needed to support customer funds on and off the platform.  You will research and advise on new fiat funding methods, technologies and opportunities that assist in increased AUM.

This role must be comfortable partnering with internal and external partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and execute on strategic initiatives related to customer funding services.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for Voyager’s client funding process, inclusive of product design and internal/external stakeholder management across product, business operations, technology, compliance, fraud/risk, support, marketing and data.
  • Manage relationships with external technology partners used for fiat funding to ensure we get the most out of the partnerships and technologies used.  Advocate for features and improvements that benefit our client funding needs.
  • Research and become an expert on competitors to our existing funding technology partners.  Make recommendations based on data if/when new relationships or technologies should be leveraged to continue to improve and refine funding activities.
  • Analyze market trends, competition and customer experience journeys to inform product, driving improvements and innovation to the funding process.
  • Ability to connect consumer insights/needs with data driven analysis to create and prioritize the funding product roadmap
  • Integrate analysis and customer feedback into product requirements to ensure features satisfy customer needs and desires
  • Define criteria to measure success/failure for client funding process changes.  Work with appropriate teams to complete user studies, A/B tests or other types of experimentation when making changes as appropriate.
  • Ensure quality deployment and operational excellence around feature launches, including the creation of success metrics and evaluation of performance

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years leading product-focused initiatives
  • Experience with product management in the fin-tech industry specifically around banking services such as ACH transfers, wires, payments, etc.
  • Knowledge of regulations, banking systems and technologies, and compliance requirements for funding activities
  • Results-driven, solutions and customer focused, with strong business acumen and ability to drive teams through rapid execution
  • Self starter attitude with comfort in ambiguity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Kanban SDLC desired
  • Experience with feature experimentation via tools such as LaunchDarkly desired
