About the Role:

We are looking for a creative short form content marketer to help us craft meaningful short form content for a variety of digital platforms including email, social media posts, videos, slides, and more. You will be responsible for creating and managing all of our social media and email campaigns, in alignment with content strategy led by the Content Lead. Our ideal candidate will have a knack for creative storytelling and ability to engage with our audience in a social media setting. You will possess the special skill of turning copy into life!

What you will do:

  • Lead, write, edit, proof, and create all short form content: email, organic social media posts, assist with ad copy as needed
  • Creative storytelling
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology
  • Work with design team to procure assets/images for social and email promotions
  • Regularly monitor industry trends, providing timely POVs and insights on platform updates, competitor activities, tools, and applications
  • Lead social media strategy
  • Day-to-day management of social media campaigns and channels
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams, including DevRel, to drive consistency of messaging/posting on various developer channels
  • Enroll appropriate team members to engage on developer channels as needed
  • Craft email marketing content
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing ops and digital team to manage email marketing
  • Write light website copy as needed
  • Craft and maintain social media posting calendar
  • Craft and maintain email marketing calendar
  • Report on social media and email marketing metrics results

What you bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years of experience as short form content writer in high tech space (cloud industry experience is a plus)
  • Great organization and project management skills needed to orchestrate posts cadence
  • Ability to report on marketing metrics
  • Passionate and able to show brand energy through social and email campaigns
  • Expertise with Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Sprout Social, Bambu, Canva, Asana
  • Team player eager to work cross-functionally within the marketing team as well as partnering with other teams
