Android Software Engineer at Oviva

Oviva is rapidly expanding in Switzerland, Germany, France and the UK and we have become the largest digital health provider treating diet & lifestyle conditions in Europe. You will develop new features for our patient-facing app or our internal web application. We have all knowledge in-house and will provide training for your continued development.

What we are looking for:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (Juniors welcome if we find proof of potential)
• Strong Java design and development skills (Kotlin is a plus)
• Solid understanding of web standards including REST
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.

Desired:

• Solid knowledge of the Android SDK including the Support libraries (androidx)
• Experience with Agile or XP methodologies or related iterative development processes
• Experienced with reactive architectures and MVVM design pattern
