About the Data Science Team
The data science team at Aclima transforms high resolution spatiotemporal data from our urban outdoor sensor networks combined with other geospatial data into actionable information products. We design air quality models and predictive analytics, working with atmospheric scientists, hardware engineers, and backend engineers to optimize the sampling design of environmental space-time processes, and to deliver geospatial insights from our datasets.
We seek smart and motivated people who have a strong interest in environmental science and big data. You will work closely across the data science and backend platform teams to integrate and test complex modeling algorithms, as well as innovate new algorithms to advance product capabilities.
Our stack includes: Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, PubSub, DataFlow, CloudSQL), Python, ElasticSearch, MapBox, Kubernetes, Docker, CircleCI, Git, Go
