As Strategic Sales Executive your mission will be selling in the US territory and will be part of the Strategic Sales Team.
You will also be responsible for:
- Develop new business (“hunter”) partnerships;
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closed;
- Maintain a strong understanding of our competitive landscape, business strategy, and growth opportunities; and be proactive to put in place a new strategy if necessary;
- Build lasting and beneficial relationships with partners and other industry participants;
- Partner with and influences a cross-functional team internally (e.g. risk, product, marketing, pricing, market intelligence) to support growth initiative and deal execution;
- Respond to complex and diverse RFIs and RFPs as they arise;
- Travel across the designated geographic region.
What is indispensable for the job?
- Relevant experience in complex sales (B2B), with long sales cycle; has a successful track record, preferably within a high growth company and complex business environment;
- Experience in B2B sales in Payments or Financial Services more broadly;
- Results focused and highly motivated individual that thrives in a high growth company (startup mentality);
- Willing to lead the way to improve the business holistically;
- Experience in driving enterprise sales through structured methodology and processes (internally and externally), sales pipeline management (data driven decision making) and CRM skills;
- Merchant/client centric mindset, always taking in consideration the client for decision making, needs, requirements and expansion decisions;
- Have a can-do attitude, be able to articulate and overcome failure, and have a resilient mindset to thrive within a competitive environment;
- Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including developing relationships, negotiating, and building influence; have had a sales leadership position;
- Be based in US and be able to travel across the designated geographic region as needed;
- Fluency in English.
