Peerspace is hiring a software engineer with 5 years of experience to join our team who has relevant knowledge in reservation systems, two sided marketplaces, transactional ledgers, and payment gateways. You will help maintain and improve this system, and add new features as the platform grows.  Additionally you should have experience and aptitude in production debugging.

Other areas of active development include account and inventory management, account security, image analysis and tagging, spatial and time based searching as well as search matching.

You should have technical proficiency or familiarity in some or all of the following: microservice architecture, distributed systems, pub/sub message queues, API design, finite state machines,  idempotent request handling and data modeling.

You should like problem solving and be able to think in the short, mid and long terms, and also have a willingness to use and learn new technologies, patterns, and business concepts.
