SonicWall is seeking a talented front-end website developer to join an established team during an exciting time of growth and innovation. Candidates should have a passion for coding and demonstrated experience with creating highly polished websites. General responsibilities will include working closely with internal stakeholders to address the ongoing needs of the existing corporate website, as well as opportunities for entirely new site builds. 
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Build code for efficient, optimized and mobile-friendly websites using a variety of software and languages.
  • Support the VP of Digital Experience in meeting with internal stakeholders to identify needs and liaising regularly with them.
  • Implement and manage WordPress themes and plugin development.
  • Manage and upload website content working with a broad range of internal stakeholders.
  • Edit content, debug code and re-design web pages.
  • Design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Ensure high-performance and availability, managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Improve and iterate on existing features through A/B testing, user or team feedback.
  • Keep up to date with best practices in developing and designing for the web, web usability, web design and industry trends.
 
 
Required Qualification:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a front-end web developer.
  • Experience creating websites with WordPress.
  • Proficiency with front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
  • Knowledge of PHP and SASS.
  • Experience with web development and debugging tools.
  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
  • Strong cross-group communication and negotiation skills.]
  • Knowledge of Python is desired.
  • Knowledge of Web analytics tools is desired.
  • Experience with managing multilingual websites is desired.
  • Experience in working with agile processes, tools and teams is desired.
