Marketing Operations Manager at Ionic

As part of the growing Revenue Operations team, the Marketing Operations Manager plays a vital role in supporting the operational excellence of Ionic’s Marketing organization. In this cross-functional role, the candidate will have ownership over significant operations in the marketing technology stack and will work closely with stakeholders from across the organization to strategize, organize, enable, and expand capabilities that support evolving marketing goals. This person is responsible for the strategy, development, execution, optimization, and analytics of global campaigns, working with internal stakeholders, including Product Marketing and Demand Generation teams as well as external agencies.

Outcomes In your role you’ll be measured on your ability to:

• Orchestrate campaign and content development across a network of contributors and stakeholders • Architect innovative multi-channel engagement programs for the stages of the buyer’s journey • Align with stakeholders to assess needs, perform gap analysis, and build a roadmap for new technology and capability development

Responsibilities Your areas of ownership will include:

• Work across a dynamic ecosystem of stakeholders to define, develop, and implement integrated campaign strategies • Create optimized programs to generate adoptions and leads at scale across a number of audience segments • Clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholder teams to outline strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for campaigns • Help administer and be a subject matter expert for all Marketing Technology in our stack • Ensure effective and efficient design of technology stack and related processes • Help administer and be a subject matter expert for all Marketing Technology in our stack • Maximize value provided by each tool, and manage integration between tools • Monitor health and data hygiene of operational systems • Proactively plan and organize system maintenance

Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: • Experience in marketing operations • Experience with campaign reporting and data analysis • Experience working with Hubspot, Marketo, or Eloqua (Hubspot is preferred) • Demonstrated expertise in building mature marketing technology stacks, integrating marketing tools to support business objectives, and establishing scalable processes • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills • Natural drive for innovation and creative problem solving • Knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus

Location Fully remote, Ionic is currently a 100% remote workforce and was largely distributed prior to the pandemic (more than half the team did not work from the office). Our headquarters is located in Madison, WI.
