Migaku is an all-in-one language learning platform that allows you to study a language with content you love on Netflix, Youtube, websites, books, and more. Create flashcards with one click while you watch or read, including a screenshot and audio recording of the scene, and study them on your phone later wherever you are.
The company and products are going through a big brand redesign and weโre now looking for a talented iOS and Android developer (who ideally already has experience with, or is eager to learn KMM - Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile) to help build apps based on our new, super fun UI designs. We need someone who:
๐ฌ Is fluent in English
โฑ Can start immediately
โญ๏ธ Has 5+ years of mobile app development experience (including experience with both iOS and Android)
๐ Wants to work remotely
๐จโ๐จ Safeguards the fidelity of the UI design
๐ฅ Has experience with:
โ Swift
โ UIKit
โ Kotlin
โ KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile) - very nice to have
โ Message passing between webviews and native code
โ Integrating Apple Pay and Google Pay into apps
โ Releasing apps on the App Store and Play Store
We'd love someone who:
๐ฅ Has extensive experience with KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile)
๐ต Big big bonus: Has a passion or interest in language learning, anime, pop culture, etc.!
What we offer:
๐ฐ Yearly salary between $60k - $90k

This is a fully remote position! Our team members are in Japan, USA, Germany, China and the UK. The position is open-ended.
