Senior Staff Product Manager at Hopin

Sorry, but this job listing has expired!

Hopin’s Platform Services organization is building the underlying technology that will power the next generation of Hopin products. We provide the necessary components to manage identity, automate billing and license management, process payments, manage pricing, store and query data, standardize the user experience across products, as well as tools and enhancements for our video and chat experiences.

The Platform Services organization is looking for an entrepreneurial Staff Product Manager to drive the strategy for new identity and access management features for our customers. You should be passionate about helping customers manage a simple and secure identity in the cloud. You will invent on behalf of our customers, advocating for their needs throughout the design, build, and deployment process. This position has a high level of visibility, so we are excited to work with a leader who can form a strategy that gets to the core of what customers value, set priorities that move that strategy forward, and exert influence to align your diverse stakeholders. You'll work closely with technical team members to identify and prioritize investments to enable rapid innovation, scale, and performance for our customers.

You Will:

  • Run your product like a business by defining the customer segment, business need, and KPIs; and then managing the product life cycle from ideation, to planning and execution
  • Own the product vision and roadmap for your products
  • Prioritize Impact: focus the team on the most impactful projects by understanding customer use cases, combining data with anecdotes to ensure you are prioritizing the right work, and synthesizing those in clear stories within your product roadmap
  • Ensure your team has a strong understanding and empathy for the opportunities and challenges that face our users as well as partnering teams
  • Collaborate with engineers, product marketers, account executives, analysts, and designers, to build remarkable product experiences that delight our users
  • Manage expectations by communicating progress to stakeholders and partners
  • Ensure the health of your product by balancing new features with maintenance and technical debt

Basic Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in product management (10+ years) with a consistent track record of shipping successful products
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Success in managing complex program/project deliverables across multiple teams
  • Proven ability to make smart features (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Experience being responsible for roadmap strategy and definition
  • Being based in one of our eligible countries within the GMT+2 and GMT-4 time zones

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a technology or business related field
  • Experience in identity or access management
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision
  • Nimbleness and comfort with ambiguity; ability to respond rapidly to evolving threats and opportunities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work closely with creative and business partners
