About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Elixir developer to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer.

You’ll play an integral role in scaling the Players’ Lounge platform by architecting and building new APIs that power our core web and mobile applications. As a senior engineer, you’ll work cross-functionally with other teams & mentor more junior team members.

Our ideal candidate has a passion for gaming and uses our product. We want our team members to take initiative to improve our product through a deep concern for the user experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Build robust and scalable APIs in Elixir and Node.js
  • Expand our core GraphQL API that powers our web and mobile applications
  • Build robust automated tests to test edge cases and ensure consistency in our products
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of distributed systems and services

Qualifications

  • Experience using Elixir in production, ideally Ash/Phoenix
  • Firm grasp of JavaScript and specifically Node.js
  • Understanding of GraphQL APIs and GraphQL concepts
  • Experience with Terraform, Jest, and serverless architecture is a plus
