Proposal engineer at NX Filtration

To support our rapidly expanding global commercial team, we are looking for Proposal Engineers. You do not only understand membrane processes, but also have a good working knowledge of complete water/wastewater treatment systems, of alternative technologies, and pretreatment and polishing technologies. You will be the bridge between our R&D team and our Sales Team.

Region: Preferably you are willing to move to work from our HQ in Enschede, The Netherlands. In specific cases we will consider other locations in Europe, close to an international airport.

What will you be doing?

As Proposal Engineer with NX Filtration you play a pivotal role between our customers (OEMs, EPCs and End users), our R&D team, our Applications Engineering team and our Sales Managers. You will not only develop optimal hollow fiber nanofiltration (dNF) membrane processes, but you will also research, quantify and map alternative technologies to assess in depth the benefits of hollow fiber nanofiltration membrane technology. Analytic skills and clear reporting and communication are key in this role. You will cooperate closely with your colleagues in NX Filtration.

• You are curious, self starting, energetic and ambitious, result driven, and a team player;
• Understanding of a broad scheme water treatment technologies, and (membrane)filtration;
• Familiar with putting together cost estimates of complete water/wastewater treatment systems;
• Familiar with working with internal and external customers (End users, EPCs and OEMs);
• 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international company;
• You are a strong communicator with knowledge of proper English usage, both verbal and written. Any additional language is an advantage;
• Bachelor or master degree in a technical/engineering area;
