Bitcoin Lightning Developer at Light Layer

We are a startup based in the Middle East working to build a Bitcoin Lightning application (MVP) and we believe we could be the tool that changes people’s lives to the better and we’re looking to hire the best talent who fits in the job requirements

Responsibilities:

• Interact with RPC interfaces to Linux-based Rust and C infrastructure
• Create interfaces for technology for people using Bitcoin and Lightning
• Make something suitable for human use
• Production and Test Environment Development 
• Managing Deployment Pipeline 
• Devops & Devs Environments 
• Team work skills and hight moral and responsibility 
• Fixing bugs and issues 
• Quality Assurance (Unit testing)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master or PhD degrees in Computer Science and Cryptography is preferred or equivalence experience 
• Prior knowledge and experience in Bitcoin Lightning Network Protocols
• Good understanding of 2nd layer scaling solutions (Lightning Network)
• A candidate must have experience with Golang (LND)

Skills:

• Experience developing dashboards and control panels for both technical and non-technical users
• Good backend programming experience using Golang / LND
• Ability to work with different layers in Bitcoin Lightning Application 
• Good experience in building scalable, high-performing distributed systems including APIs, orchestration layers, 3rd party integrations, monitoring & alerts, and high availability
• Experience in the entire Secure Software Development Life cycle including version control, CI/CD, unit-testing and performance testing
• Understand blockchain technologies (public and permissioned), De-Fi apps, security protocols, private key custody, distributed ledgers – Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.
• Full-stack software development experience a plus
• Motivated and fast learner of new technologies to solve complex problems
• Experience in payments and financial services compliance, payments ecosystems and payment processing flows
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise way; ability to influence and develop relationships with key partners
