Ardent is seeking a AWS Solutions Architect to join our team.  

This is a remote role.  

Position Description:

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Cloud Solution Architect to support our growing AWS Advanced Consulting Partnership and multi-vendor cloud practice. Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements gathering discussions with prospective customers
• As a trusted customer advocate, help customers understand best practices for migrating workloads to the cloud and implementing cloud solutions
• Responsible for design, development, and architecture of Cloud solutions to meet customer needs.
• Clearly communicate cloud value proposition to prospective customers and within corporate organization.
• Participate in detailed technical and architectural discussions to ensure cloud solutions are designed for successful deployment in cloud.
• Provide expertise around Business Intelligence (BI) Cloud reporting tools.
• Review coding done to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development. Analyze application for data integrity issues.
• Develop test protocols or plan for testing revised application and review test results.
• Mentor less experienced technical staff; may use high end development tools to assist or facilitate development process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher; 3-5+ years of experience
• Certification with at least one Cloud Service Provider, preferred AWS Solutions Architect - Associate
• Experience across the entire IT stack including business, applications, data, infrastructure, and process management
• Knowledge of technology trends such as new cloud technologies features.
• Ability to collaboratively work across the ecosystem including sales, delivery, finance, and other teams.

Experience hands-on multi-vendor IaaS / PaaS

• At least three to five years’ experience designing and architecting cloud solutions
• Demonstrated experience managing Active Directory and migrating Identity Services solutions to the Cloud
• PowerShell experience as it relates to Azure, AD, and Office 365
• S. Citizenship required in order to comply with law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.
