THE TEAM The Impact function is a lean organization currently charged with developing and executing a large-scale impact goal based on social connection, advancing internal and external programs promoting social and racial justice, and developing a meaningful philanthropic agenda.  Social Impact is one-half of Eventbrite's Impact organization, with Public Policy & Government Affairs making up the other half.  In Impact, we work with creators, nonprofit partners, and government officials to advance social progress and public policies that enable Eventbrite’s mission to flourish. We create and execute initiatives and partnerships that facilitate positive change for society, creators, and our employees, ranging from fostering social connection to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. THE ROLE This experienced individual is a compassionate leader with a proven track record in developing and executing large-scale initiatives, working across global teams and inspiring an audience to go the extra mile to see that extra impact result.  Persuasiveness, passion, collaboration, and vision are all key attributes of this role.   You will lead a team currently including a Sr. manager and shared program manager.  We anticipate the team will grow over the coming years as contemplated and designed by the person that fills this role.  This role will shape the structure for the function and manage and develop the individuals on the team.  The ideal candidate is a proven leader and problem-solver with exceptional experience in metrics-driven impact program design, philanthropic strategy development, and creativity around compelling internal and external partnerships.  This individual should excel in interactions and productive communication with all functional and management levels, including executive management, product, engineering, marketing, comms, investor relations, and legal teams and ensure employees and leadership fully understand and embody our social impact vision, and its connection to Eventbrite's larger mission.  This individual should also be well-versed in operational and financial planning to incorporate into annual goals and objectives, programming KPIs, and securing the financial and personnel resources to meet those milestones. This role reports to the VP of Impact who reports to the company’s Chief Financial Officer.
