Senior Propulsion Engineer As a Senior Propulsion Engineer specialized in structural/mechanical engineering, you will be responsible for cradle to grave development of support structure hardware for engine assemblies and propellant & pressurant management system (PPMS) assemblies. You will work closely with the combustion devices, turbo machinery, components, PPMS, and vehicle design engineers to design and develop primary and secondary structures for fluid systems, engine assemblies, and PPMS assemblies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a multi-disciplinary engineer with a diverse set of skills and experience in these fields of expertise: mechanical and fluid systems designs, combined structural / thermal design, analysis of components, dynamics and static loads analysis for large assemblies, generating complex CAD models, designing for manufacturing (DFM), technical report writing, and communication and people skills. This is a full-time salaried position with the flexibility of working remotely or from our headquarter located on the Ellington Air Field in Houston, Texas. Remote candidates must be able to support travel to and from Houston, TX on a semi-regular basis. 401k and other benefits offered.
