About the Role:

As a Senior Technical writer, you will work directly with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to create, maintain, and edit knowledge base articles that are used by marketing and sales teams with varying skill levels.

 What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of technical writing experience (preferably at an enterprise software company)
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communications skills
  • Experience with common tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce, and Jira
  • Demonstrated experience working with style guides
  • Experience with information architecture and content management systems
  • Experience developing content for marketing and or sales software end users ideal
  • Experience working in agile development environment ideal 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams
  • Develop a strong understanding of our software at a technical level as well as at a higher level to support functional use cases
  • Write content about software features, capabilities, and troubleshooting
  • Use strong writing, editing, and communication skills to present technical information in a format that is easy to understand and meets the functional goals of the intended audience
  • Edit drafts provided by non-writers and collaborate to deliver a professional quality product
  • Create visual aids as appropriate (primarily screenshots and animated GIFs)
  • Follow our established style guides and contribute to their ongoing development
  • Collaborate with other writers to deliver content solutions
