The Jito Foundation is an organization with the broad mandate to promote the adoption of Jito Network products, including JitoSOL, the largest DeFi protocol on Solana. About the Role

We are looking for a Community Manager to act as our digital spearhead on the front lines of building the Jito cult. Reporting to our Creative Director, you will have broad reign to propose and iterate on new projects and serve as our ambassador across multiple public channels. You will be learning from and working in concert with crypto veterans who have executed at the highest levels of the industry.


The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for Solana and Jito, a keen understanding of meme culture, and the ability to engage and grow our community effectively. This role requires excellent organizational skills, promptness, and a proactive attitude, as well as excellent communications skills, storytelling, and copywriting. If you are already adept at some or all of these skills, the role could be for you. If you are world-class at one of these skills and willing to learn some or all of the others, the role could be for you.


You will be critical to the Jito Foundation’s success as we strive to push the boundaries of DeFi on Solana. You will have as much responsibility and autonomy that you have the ambition to seize and the competency to keep. The role is best suited for a zealot.


The position is fully remote, but will require a willingness to attend weekly EST meetings.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and engage with the Jito community on social media platforms and Discord
  • Create and share content that resonates with our community, including memes, updates, and announcements
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, community feedback, and opportunities for engagement
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies
  • Organize and participate in community events, AMAs, and other engagement activities
  • Track and report on social media and community metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Build relationships and foster an authentic community
  • Distribute content across multiple platforms

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven talent. Prior experience (2+ years) is preferred, but a portfolio of strong work is a must
  • Storytelling capability across multiple mediums and superb copywriting skills
  • Community knowledge. You must be familiar with the culture, vernacular and the values of our users
  • Detail-oriented creator who can manage multiple communities effectively
  • Data-driven creativity. The ability to rationalize and justify pursuing one project over another via KPIs


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • Graphic design skills
  • Video editing skills
