Frontend Fullstack Engineer at Avatown

Avatown is a pioneering avatar platform for the metaverse lifestyle, supporting creative and liberating expressions of self. We are a hub for securely trading avatars, clothing, and accessories tailored for VR environments. Our platform allows talented creators to showcase and sell their unique designs to our 5M+ users across the United States. This spring, we're launching a VR select shop exclusively featuring top-tier avatars, enhancing our customers' shopping experience with stunning 3D views.

We are a fully remote team, primarily divided into the Growth Team and the Dev Team, with currently eight teammates on board. Our co-founders, Yuta and Sifat, bring their expertise in VR, AI, and business operations to the table. Priyank, the head of our engineering team, has a history of developing products with over a million users.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Frontend/Fullstack Engineer to join our Dev Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, system strategy, development, testing, and maintaining our web applications. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure that our applications are visually appealing and functional.

Requirements

• Proven engineering experience, preferably in a startup environment
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to overlap working hours with time zones from India to US West Coast
• A GitHub profile showcasing your previous work
• Experience in product development is a plus
