This role is to help us deliver important new product innovation in a highly efficient and fast-paced way. 

As a Senior Product Manager of the new product development domain, you will take ownership in driving the inception and defining the roadmap of Zepz’s new products.

What you will own:

Reporting to Director of Product, you will:

  • Drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution to launch and scale 0-1 products
  • Lead cross-functional domain efforts to drive launch, activation, adoption, and retention of new products under the Sendwave and WorldRemit brands
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to make and influence product decisions on priority and tradeoffs.
  • Ensure that product vision, roadmap and features are aligned with Zepz’ mission and overall business strategyAdvocate for the customer through frequent interactions with customers
  • Monitor domain and product performance as well as user feedback to ensure product meets customer needs
  • Drive hypothesis and data driven experimentation with the goal of developing high retention rates within 0-1 products.Deliver user experiences that are engaging and intuitive
  • Collaborating with other functions in and outside of product and engineering organization to develop, prioritize and launch product initiatives that improve the customer experience
  • Identify trends and opportunities to enhance the product by developing end to end understanding of core customer needs, the competitive as well as  industry landscape that WorldRemit plays in.
  • Improve product ways of working around product backlog management, prioritization, definition, planning and deliveryFoster a strong team culture aligned to Zepz commitments.

What you bring to the table: 

  • 5-7+ years of progressive leadership in product managementBachelor’s degree preferred, MBA is a plus but not required
  • Having founded a startup is a huge plus, even if the startup did not succeed
  • Passion in advocating for immigrant financial empowermentUser empathy-driven approach to product management
  • Experience managing consumer facing mobile app products
  • Experience taking products from ideation to launch
  • Experience developing a roadmap with incomplete or imperfect information
  • Experience making product trade offs to focus on product market fit
  • Experience conducting customer interviews Track record of delivering measurable improvements in product retention
  • Practical knowledge of activation, engagement and retention strategies
  • Strong understanding of data, fluent with defining and tracking product metrics of success, as well tying product metrics of success to company KPI’s
  • Proven track record of driving hypotheses and data driven experimentation (A/B testing)
  • Great attention to detail, able to juggle multiple projects and priorities at a time
  • Hands on, self starter, willing to roll up your sleeves to drive initiatives with little oversight
  • Effective communicator and collaborator, able to navigate complex relationships to get the job done

Bonus points if you: 

  • Experience operating in a scrum Agile environment
  • Have direct experience in the fin-tech industry, especially payments and remittance 
  • Have experience in driving improved standards for Agile ways of working i.e. backlog management, refinement, sprint reviews etc
