What You’ll Do

• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify areas of opportunity to make improvements to our overall user experience. 
• Work closely with a product team to lead quantitative analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimentation efforts.
• Build automated dashboards to help stakeholders monitor the health of their product. 
• Comfortable with predictive modelling techniques such as linear/logistic regressions, random forest/k-means clustering, decision trees, etc.
• Present your findings to both technical and non-technical audiences to help drive key business decisions. 
• Work closely with several cross-functional teams to help lead company initiatives to help grow different parts of the business. 
• Take a question or issue, use data to identify the root cause, and offer recommendations on proposed solutions. 

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar field. Master’s Degree a plus but not required
• 3+ years working as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Product Data Analyst. 
• 3+ years working with SQL (experience with Azure Cloud Services is a plus)
• 3+ years working with Python or R is preferred but not required. 
• 3+ years working with a product/web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MixPanel, Heap, etc.)
• 3+ years working with interactive visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.)
• Strong expertise in taking a question from a stakeholder, then using various data points to unravel complex patterns and derive meaningful insights from data.
• A willingness to work closely with a team of analysts and several other team members and stakeholders to find key insights to help grow the business.
• Comfortable working with large datasets with a keen eye for accuracy in reporting.
