Length: 6 month fixed term internship

Salary: £30k (pro rata)

Working hours: 9am - 6pm

Location: London, Waterloo (onsite 4x days, 1x day remote)


Role overview


Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptionalData Analyst Intern to come and join our global business.


Reporting directly into the Lead Data Scientist, and working collaboratively with commercial, marketing, engineering, and product teams, providing unique insights and supporting data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for graduates eager to explore a career in data science, regardless of their academic background. We strive to have potential for growth and advancement within Fresha for this role.

What you will be doing
  • Analysis - Assisting with the collection, cleaning, and analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Reporting - Creating and maintaining data reports and dashboards
  • Research - Conducting research to inform data science strategies and methodologies
  • Experience - Gaining hands-on experience in the field of data analysis and data science
  • Collaboration - Working with a supportive and experienced data team


What we are looking for
  • A recent university graduate looking to try a career in data, but not necessarily from an engineering/math/science background
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic grasp of SQL (e.g.: ability to do JOINs)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment


Added bonus
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methodologies
  • Experience with Python


Interview Process
  • 1st Stage - Video-call with the Lead Data Scientist 30-45 minutes
  • Final Stage - Case Study - In-person with the Lead Data Scientist, Lead Analytics Engineer, People Partner  60 mins
