UX Designer at Real Vision

Our product and engineering team is growing rapidly. We're a team of 15 based all over the world, headquartered in the Cayman Islands. This role will be based within our Innovation Lab working with the CXO, CTO and product manager.

As a UX Designer, you will contribute to the end-to-end product development processes. Starting with hypotheses to test, then shaping them to the design solution, and validating it with users. You'll collaborate closely with the engineering team to find the best way to test your assumptions quickly, inform your decisions and maintain a high bar of product quality.

You’ll help build out new features as we test new ideas in our innovation lab. We are focusing on quality and customer experience as a team.

You'll work on:

• Create and build design systems alongside engineers and product managers to define the strategy and tactics for the product

• Work with the engineering team to guide final implementation of design concepts

• Create user flows, design documentation, prototypes, design assets, and other UX deliverables

• Transform ideas and concepts into high fidelity designs

• Direct and conduct usability testing

• Synthesize requirements from existing functionality, customer input, brainstormed ideas, and direction from senior management

• Evaluate existing applications and their user experience effectiveness

• Participate in design reviews and share your work with the PM, engineers, and company leadership

• Represent the user throughout the product design process, ensuring UX consistency across products

• Articulate concepts through personas, scenarios, storyboards, design sketching, wireframes, and rapid prototyping

• Create documentation to support the definition of specifications for engineering

• Distill complex user workflows and business problems into simple and elegant design solutions

We are looking for someone who: 

• Have 5+ years of relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company

• Experience with interaction design

• Have experience designing developer-focused products with user-centered design

• Are an expert in UX, and skilled in more disciplines across product design

• Think in systeems and can extrapolate and extend shared patterns and behaviors

• You have a passionate curiosity for UX with a solid foundation in layout and design

• You have knowledge of cognitive science and psychology, with a solid understanding of user experience design

• Sound experience in mobile design

• Good knowledge of experience design

• Understands principles of user interface design

• You have expert-level knowledge of Sketch, Figma, or equivalent platforms.

• You are fluent in analytics, usability tests, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative feedback.

• Manage time effectively to provide quality deliverables within the expected project timeline

• You have solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present a strong rationale for design decisions and the ability to receive feedback

• You have a portfolio that clearly showcases your abilities and experiences
