Senior Data Quality Manager at LaunchDarkly

About the Job:

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Quality for our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Revenue organization’s data quality strategy and initiatives. This role will drive data governance processes and ensure adherence to data quality standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate for this position has extensive experience in data quality management, collaborates well across teams, loves to solve problems, and has an understanding of data architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development and integration of comprehensive data management strategy, framework, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and priorities.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data quality requirements, identify issues, and drive improvements through data profiling, cleansing, monitoring, and remediation efforts.

  • Design, implement, and maintain data quality rules, metrics, and KPIs to measure and report on data integrity, consistency, and fitness for use across key data sources and systems.

  • Establish, socialize, and enforce enterprise-wide data quality standards, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee data quality testing, validation, and certification processes for new systems, applications, and data integrations to ensure robust and reliable data assets.

  • Proactively identify data quality risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and lead cross-functional projects to address them.

  • Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, data owners, and technical teams to foster a data quality-centric mindset and facilitate sustainable data quality practices.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a role focused on data quality management and/or governance for Revenue-generating teams.

  • Extensive knowledge of data quality principles, methodologies, and tools (profiling, cleansing, monitoring, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data management practices, and data lifecycle management.

  • Proven ability to influence and drive collaboration across cross-functional groups without direct authority.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Some expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and enterprise data management practices.

  • Some knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Excel, and related BI and analytical tools.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.

Pay:

Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level P4:

  • Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or New York City Metropolitan Area (if not Bay area specific role): $138,000 - $162,000**

  • Zone 2: Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle: $124,000 - $146,000**

  • Zone 3: All other US locations: $117,000 - $138,000**

LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

*Within the United States, our geographic pay zones are defined by counties surrounding major metropolitan areas.
**Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
