About The Job


The Business Operations team drives strategic, operational, and organizational improvements across the company.


As an Associate in Business Operations, you will work alongside the BizOps Manager on projects chosen in partnership with Passport's executive team and functional leads. You will be a force-multiplier, problem-solver, results-driver and thought partner.


In this role, you will leverage your qualitative and quantitative research skills to conduct in-depth analyses, develop insights, and synthesize recommendations. You will share these recommendations with stakeholders, help drive implementation, and track the impact of the recommendations. 


You will also have the opportunity to be #2 on a high-impact team, influencing and shaping its development and role in the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Your role will span across the three core functions of the BizOps Team at Passport:

  • Strategic Initiatives
  • Structure complex and ambiguous business issues across the organization.
  • Gather and analyze large amounts of information quickly and solve problems effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Develop insightful recommendations.
  • Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision-making within leadership audiences.
  • Work closely with product managers, leadership, and functions to operationalize recommendations.

  • Strategy & Analytics
  • Support the definition of key business metrics and provide guidance to functional leads on KPIs.
  • Work with Passport’s data team to build supporting reporting and surface challenges or opportunities through proactive monitoring.

  • Organizational Planning
  • Support routine business reporting, finding opportunities for improvement and automation where possible.
  • Support facilitation of quarterly and annual business planning.


Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a consulting firm.

  • Preferred qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience at a management consulting firm with an excellent performance trajectory through exceptional impact, performance ratings, or promotions.
  • 3-5 years experience in strategy or in a business operations environment.
  • Experience working on complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, modeling and presentation skills.

  • Nice-to-haves:
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and dashboard building (Tableau a plus!)
